Psychotherapy
“An emotion, which is a passion, ceases to afflict us once we form a clear and distinct idea thereof.”
Our Therapeutic Approach: Fostering Insight, Growth, and Lasting Change
We offer a range of evidence-based therapeutic services tailored to support emotional well-being, enhance self-awareness, and promote meaningful, lasting change. Our practice integrates three core approaches:
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): IPT focuses on the vital connection between emotional health and relationships. By exploring relational patterns, communication dynamics, and significant life events, clients develop healthier, more fulfilling connections and experience relief from distress related to social and interpersonal challenges.
Supportive-Expressive Therapy (SET): SET provides a safe, collaborative environment to uncover and address underlying emotional patterns. Through guided exploration of core relational themes, clients gain insight into unconscious conflicts and learn to express emotions more freely, ultimately fostering greater self-understanding and adaptive coping strategies.
Pattern-Focused Therapy (PFT): PFT helps clients identify and transform recurring emotional and behavioral patterns that contribute to psychological distress. By recognizing these patterns and their origins, clients develop practical tools to break free from unhelpful cycles, fostering increased emotional clarity and personal growth.
Our therapists work with each client to determine the best approach—or combination of approaches—to meet their unique needs, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience.
We use HIPAA compliant software for our virtual therapy sessions.
